Arrow stores photos locally inside the app on your iPhone. Arrow does not upload your photo library to a cloud photo service.
No, not by default. Arrow keeps photos inside the app unless you choose to share or export them.
Only if you choose to enable Save Location. Arrow can then add available location and a place label to new photos captured in Arrow; existing photos are not changed. Image copies prepared by Arrow for sharing or export are sanitized so embedded GPS metadata is not included by default. You can turn Location off in Arrow or iOS Settings.
Arrow first moves it to Recently Deleted and shows a seven-day recovery window. You can restore it there or choose Delete Permanently at any time. Arrow does not currently guarantee that a photo is removed automatically when the displayed recovery window ends, so use Delete Permanently when you want to remove it from Arrow.
Uninstalling Arrow removes the app and its on-device data from the active device. Export or share anything important first. Copies already saved or sent elsewhere are not removed.
Stash Camera is becoming Arrow. Some previous Stash Camera behaviors are being redesigned and may not appear in this release.
Yes. Arrow is completely free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.
We collect anonymous product analytics (via PostHog) and crash/performance reports (via Sentry). If you use Send Feedback, you choose whether to send text or a voice note and an optional reply email. The form also tells you if recent location context may be included. Photo content is never attached. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
