Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my photos stored?

All photos are stored locally on your iPhone in Arrow's private storage. They never appear in your Camera Roll and are never uploaded anywhere.

How do I import photos from other apps?

Select photos in any app (Camera Roll, WhatsApp, Safari, etc.), tap the Share button, and choose "Save to Arrow". The photos will be copied to Arrow's private library.

Can I export photos from Arrow?

Yes. Open any photo in Arrow, tap the share button, and choose where to send it — AirDrop, Messages, save to Camera Roll, or any other app.

What happens if I delete the app?

Uninstalling Arrow permanently deletes all photos stored in the app. We have no cloud backup, so deleted photos cannot be recovered. Export any important photos before uninstalling.

Does Arrow use my location?

Only if you choose to enable it. When enabled, GPS coordinates are saved with each photo for your reference. That location data stays on your device during normal use. If you send in-app feedback and a recent location is available, that recent location may be included with the report as disclosed in the form.

Is Arrow free?

Yes. Arrow is completely free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.

What data does Arrow collect?

We collect anonymous product analytics (via PostHog) and crash/performance reports (via Sentry). If you use Send Feedback, we also receive the message or voice note you submit, your email address if you ask for a reply, and recent location context only when the feedback form discloses it may be included. Photo content is never attached. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I send feedback from inside the app?

Yes. Use Send Feedback from the camera, settings, gallery, or viewer. You can send text or a voice note, and optionally leave an email address if you want a reply.
